前两天发布了Manly私立女校Stella Maris的信息以后有人问如果家里是男孩子的话怎么办？其实同在Manly附近有另外一所非常著名的男校 – 圣奥古斯丁男子(St Augustine’s College)。

The Middle School at St Augustine’s College comprises three Year Groups – Years 7, 8 and 9, and provides a well-rounded and unique education for boys that is both engaging and enjoyable. We aim to develop the boys’ full range of academic and physical talents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment whilst encouraging them to mature as faithful, responsible young men. This is done through activities and programmes, both within the classroom and the wider community. Our Unitas Programme is developed to engage the boys in interesting activities that create a sense of unity and connectedness within their local community.
Middle School years are such a unique time of schooling, laying secure foundations for success in Senior years and encompassing the formal curriculum structured around the key learning areas.
The Senior School provides boys in Years 10, 11 and 12 a challenging and diverse learning experience. Our Senior curriculum programme is specifically tailored to the individual needs and subject requirements. Prior to the HSC, our International Office will work with each family in order to build the best pathway for each International student.
Local students study Mandarin, Japanese and Italian as a second language, as they are interested in learning about different languages and cultures. In 2016, the College Captain won second place in the worldwide Chinese Bridge competition and has gone on to study at Zhejiang University in order to develop his Chinese skills.

Each family is personally visited and interviewed to ensure each student will be well cared for in a safe and healthy environment to promote positive and successful study.

St Augustine’s College carefully selects and appoints a suitable guardian for each student who is under the age of 18. The guardian is responsible for assisting the student with his schooling and study habits, settlement into College life, as well as his general health and wellbeing.

Teaching your son at St Augustine’s College is a partnership between the student, the parents and the College. Each year, the College Principal and the Executive Officer of the International Student Programme will visit some of the major overseas cities to meet with the parents of our current students.
