如果要申请博士的话，一般申请的是研究型硕士，题主申请的是两年制澳洲硕士，英国一年制以及香港一年制，申请的应该是授课型硕士。一般来说授课型硕士没有办法申请博士，除非题主在上课之余有研究小组，然后做出了成果。

找导师：可以通过访问 Researchers website 来寻找导师的介绍，包括他们的研究领域，发表作品和联系方式。通过这个网站你也大概会有概念学校的研究领域或者找到你感兴趣的方面。

向学院提交申请:

确定导师后，你需要向导师所在的学院提交申请Proposal。通常不多于500个词，商科和法学可以更多一些，需要包含以下信息：

标题:Academic staff contact: Name(s) of the academic staff with whom you have discussed your proposal and, if relevant a potential supervisor.

目标: What aims does the work have?

提纲: Briefly describe the key aspects of what you will be investigating.

背景: Describe what research has already been done in relation to your topic.

重要性: Why is the topic important?

方法论: Approach or methodology to be used in the research.

参考资料: Provide details of the resources required for you to carry out your research project.

进度和计划: An initial plan for completion with annual milestones.

提交申请和推荐人报告:

中介填写和提交申请表+例行的申请材料（学位证毕业证成绩单等）

推荐人（一般是2名）完成推荐信后直接发给学校，然后就可以安心等结果了。
