土木工程现在真的走下坡路了吗？

我是一名即将毕业的普普通通的高三学生，听人谈到了土木工程，有一点想报。 但是看到好多答案都说土木工程没有前途，请问真的是这样的吗？又有哪些专业前途比较好呢？ 想问知乎的各位知友能给一些建议！ 万分感谢！

国内的情况不太了解，Civil Engineer在澳洲，根据政府公布的数据，未来5年是强劲增长，并且平均工资也不低，周薪1900多澳币，相当于月薪4万多人民币的水平。可能跟悉尼地区的大规模建设有关系。
